Weekly Savings at Walmart - $173.23

Holy Smokes!  I just added up my savings from the weekend shopping.  I saved $79.09 on PM and $94.14 in coupons for a total of $173.23!  I shopped the Mineral Wells and Weatherford stores this week.   My coupon total was good because I scored 6 of the Allegra $7 coupons.  I also got Colgate for $0.25,  and a couple of the Reach Floss for free.  I took advantage of the Albertsons M&M sale and stocked up on Capri Sun, Wheat Thins and Ritz Crackers.  I scored Duncan Hines Cake Mixes for $.53 cents by PM Metro and then using a coupon.  (Great donate price!) 

 One of the best deals I got was from the Tom Thumb $5 Friday Specials.  If you live near a Walmart that matches Tom Thumb, you should really be taking advantage of this!  Buitoni Ravioli Meals are reg $8.12 - I matched for $5 and then had a $2 off coupon to make them $3 each.  That is a savings of $5.12 ea - I got 2.  The Stouffers Family Size Lasagna is normally $7.24 - I matched for $5 and then had a $2 coupon for those also to make them $3 ea.  That's a savings of $4.24 ea and I bought 2.  Just by PM and using coupons on 4 items I saved $18.72!  WOW!  I wish I could shop Weatherford every Friday!  Unfortunately our Mineral Wells Walmart is too far away from Tom Thumb to be considered "local".  Oh well!  We can PM The Marketplace from Jacksboro.  By PM them I took advantage of the flour for $.99, the hot dogs for $.50, cream cheese for $.98 and the shredded cheese for $1.50.  I also took advantage of some produce sales.  

A lot of you ask how long it takes me to get ready to shop.  I didn't have all my coupons cut and I printed some so it took me about 1hr to get my "game plan" ready.  Is it worth it?  $173.23 in savings....YOU TELL ME!

Weekly Savings

This week I saved $22.04 in price matching and $45.80 in coupons. I didn't really need much but I couldn't pass up stocking up on Cheerios and Sweet N Low! I matched the Cheerios at $1.89 and used a .50 coupon to make them $1.39 instead of $2.58. My biggest deal was on the Sweet N Low. Matched them at $.88 and then used a .50 coupon to make them $.38 ea! I got 10 of them. I use about a box every 3 weeks so this was a really good deal for me! How did you do? Remember that if you post your savings on the Facebook page it counts as 3 entries in the $25.00 Walmart card give away!

Weekly Savings - $84.90!!!

Each week I try to post how much I saved.  I also am trying to show you what products I price matched so you see that I am buying everyday items!  It's really sooo easy, especially with my Price Match Report!  Last night I saved $31.96 by price matching and $52.94 in coupons for a grand total of $84.90!!

These are the items that I price matched!  Nothing out of the ordinary.  On top of price matching, I had a coupon for almost everything!  That's how you save the most money!  My biggest savers this week was the coffee, trash bags, cokes, Velveeta Shells & Cheese and Kraft Homestyle Dinners!

 You will notice that I bought two of nearly everything.  The key to saving is to build a small stockpile!  You have to start slowly.  When you get a great price on something, buy as many as you can or have coupons for.  I have a closet that I use for my "food closet".  All the extras go in there.  When we run out of peanut butter we go to the closet and get another jar!  Now don't be thinking that I am a hoarder and have a basement full of more than I could possible use, cuz I don't!  :)   Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to have a huge stockpile like that!  Imagine if someone in your church lost

Weekly Savings at Walmart - $76.34

You still have time to take advantage of some great deals that were on this weeks price match report.  This week I stocked up on Velveeta Skillet Meals, Oscar Mayer Carving Board Lunch Meats and Duracell Batteries.  I saved $49.09 Price Matching and $27.25 in coupons!  I saved $4.18 on just one package of split chicken breasts!  I also got 5 Velveeta Skillet Meals FREE!!  I price matched them at $.99 and then used the $1.00 coupon from a couple of weeks ago!

If it seems that my savings are higher than yours, it is because I stock up when items are cheap!  For example, the Oscar Mayer Carving Board Lunch Meats are normally $3.48.  I price matched them at $1.99 and then used $1.00 off coupon.  That made them $.99 ea!!  I bought 11 and put about half of them in the freezer.  So instead of paying $38.38 for 11 of them, I paid $10.89!!  This is how you create a small stockpile - or cushion as I call it - for your family!  If you have a small cushion it is much easier to catch those little curve balls that life throws at you!  Like a blown out tire, or the kids getting sick!!  I babysit kids for teachers, so in the summer months my income goes down by several hundred dollars a month!  But it was okay because I just used what I had put back and didn't stock up on things.  I only bought what I needed or things that were a steal!

I hope that you see how this Price Match Report saves me a small fortune!!  I know that when you are first starting out couponing and trying to create a stockpile for your family it can seem a little daunting.   Start slow!  Try to stock up on one item each week!  This week it may be chicken, next week it may be cereal.  Don't stock up on things that your family doesn't like!  Just because it is a steal doesn't mean that you have to get it.  It wont do you any good sitting in your cabinet for the next 6 mos!  Try making a list of  the items that are a staple for your family, things that you buy every week!  Watch the price match reports for those items to go on sale and then stock up.   Also, even if you don't have time to clip coupons try to get a paper or two a week and put the coupons back.  That way when a good deal - like the Velveeta Dinners or the lunch meat - come up you have some coupons.

Weekly Savings at Walmart - $113.70

WooHoo!!  I did good today!!  I saved $59.20 by price matching and $54.90 on coupons, for a total of $113.70.  My cart at Wal-Mart was overflowing..I mean mounded up and full on the bottom!!  The whole cart was only $125.00! 

I stocked up on some items and saved big!  Welch's Grape Jelly for $.63 instead of $1.98.  I bought 5 of them and saved $6.75 just by price matching and using a $.35 coupon!!  Saved over $13 just stocking up on cereal.  I paid $1.38 a box instead of $3.00!  I also scored Sure Deo. for $.50!

By stocking up on Ziploc Bags I saved $11.28!!!  Saved $2.96 on 8 boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese and $4.95 on Hillshire Farms Lunch Meat!!

I have 3 kids and babysit 3, so we go through lots of these items.  Even if you don't have a large family you will save money with the Price Match Report!  You don't have to get multiple of something to save on it!  Some weeks your savings will be more than others.  It just all depends on what the stores decide to put on sale!  A couple of weeks ago I only bought a few things and saved just under $9.00...$9.00 that I didn't have to give away!!

The deo and Tide ended up being free because of the coupons I had.  I price matched the pens at $.50 ea and then had a coupon for $1.00 off 2 Bic products!

Oh Yeah!  That is a 75% savings!  This is when I stock up for my boys!  $55.88 worth of Axe products for $13.94!

I also scored free Crayola Washable Markers, Special K and Raisin Bran Crunch for $1.25 a box, Cottonelle TP, 12 rolls, for $3.27, free Contact Solution, Oscar Mayer Ready to Eat Bacon for $2.00 ea.  I'd say I did pretty good!!  I LOVE REWARD BUCKS!!
 

Weekly Savings - $48.52!!!

Well, I went to Wal-Mart today to get a few things for camping and I scored some major deals!

I saved $34.52 on price matching and $14.00 on coupons.  That is $48.52 for just a quick trip...out of pocket was $75.27....I actually got out for less than $100!!!

My biggest deals:

Aussie Shamp or Condition: Reg@$2.84, PM@1.50, coupon for $1.00 off 1 = $0.50 each!!!!!

  (I stocked up and bought 11.  This is my favorite shampoo! Saved at total of $14.74 on these!

Oscar Mayer Deli Slice Lunch Meat Reg@$3.28, PM@1.68, coupon for $.50 = $1.18 each!!!

  (Got 4 of them, saved $6.40!  These will last through about Wed with the boys home!)

Diet Coke and Sprite 2L bottles, Reg $1.25 PM at $.69!!

Weekly Savings - $74.55!!!

Well, I did my weekly shopping today and my total savings was $74.55!  $31.17 from price matching and $43.38 in coupons!  I even scored some hand lotions for free!  I love using my coupons to get those little travel sizes free!  What can I say, I am easily amused!  As you can see, it is just everyday items.  (I forgot to put the toilet paper in the pic.)

You know how sometimes you are just craving some chocolate?  I got these for $0.25 ea.  I put them in the fridge so they won't be easily seen and just devoured in one day....

I have teenagers!

 These are sample lotions that I got free....well actually 3 cents overage on each!

 I price matched the shredded cheese at $1.58.  It was $2.48

 If you have never tried the Lloyds Barbeque, it's really good and there is almost always a coupon out there.  It makes for a really quick supper!

My biggest savers this week Kraft Shredded Cheese, Scott Toilet Paper, Diet Depper, Diet Coke and Captain Crunch Cereal.  NEVER pay full price for cereal or sodas!  These are always on sale somewhere!  The Diet Coke was $4.28 and the Dr. Pepper was $4.38.   I price matched both at $2.47 - thats almost $2 off a twelve pack!  

Captain Crunch Cereal was $2.48.  I price matched at $1.59 and had a coupon for 50 off, so they were only $1.09 ea!  That's stock up price.  I bought 5 boxes.  

They key to saving is to 1) Price Match it, 2) Use A Coupon, and 3) Stock Up!

I could have gotten C&H Sugar, 4lb bag for $1.64 a bag!!  Price match at $2.18 and then use my 50 cent coupon.  I have a pretty good stash of sugar, so I passed this one up!

I honestly don't understand why anyone would not want to do this!  I saved $31.17 without cutting any coupons and with my Price Match Report, it couldn't be easier!  You have nothing to loose and money to gain!
